A couple of experienced broadcasters have launched a new streaming and publicity venture. Sonny Zepeda, co-founder of SK Sports Media in the Central Texas area, has joined with Kevin McAdams, owner of the new Victory Radio Network, on a new combined venture based in the Austin area. Zepeda launched SK Sports Media on May 1, 2019 and is partners with Isabella Knight in the business. SK Sports Media works mostly with Rouse High School (Leander ISD) but recently picked up the media contract of the Leander Wolfpack a semi-pro football team based in Leander. The Wolfpack play in the Texas United Football Association (TUFA), a spring minor league developmental football league in Texas. The Wolfpack organization is beginning the third full season having made the playoffs in only their second season.
McAdams, a former co-founder of the original K-MAC Sports, is co-owner of The McAdams Company. Victory Radio Network (VRN) just landed the contract to broadcast Concordia University baseball; Concordia is a high-profile baseball team in NCAA Division III that has made the D-3 Regional playoffs the past four years. VRN, located online at www.victory-radio.com, will also host the Round Rock High School baseball broadcasts for the coming spring high school season.
